Background
Clarita is a vendor and implementer of Microsoft ERP and CRM solutions for UK mid-market customers. Clarita is owned and funded entirely by Director shareholders and has offices in Southampton, Manchester and Gloucester. Clients include Typhoo, Ryvita, The Peverel Group and Gelert Clothing to name but a few.
Business Need
Following the corporte rebranding exercise, see Clarita Case Study (1), BluEdge was retained by Clarita to provide interim marketing direction as well as providing a fully serviced marketing function to the rest of the business as required.
Our Approach
The first task was to develop a buisness plan with focused sales and marketing strategies which supported the company’s growth plan for the next fiscal. This was developed in a collaborative manner through a workshop held with the senior management team, and further refined to ensure it was both pragmatic and practical. As part of the planning exercise, BluEdge carried out market sizing, customer and competitive positioning and brought this insight into the workshop where both external and internal factors were reviewed as part of building a realistic and sustainable plan for the future.
Secondly a marketing communications plan, including the design of lead generation activities was developed in line with a specified budget for the year.
Results
- The development of a business plan for the year with clear focus and metrics.
- The provision of a full service marketing function for Clarita on an ongoing basis through the utilisation of both internal BluEdge resource and the use of specialist partners as required.
- Strategic input at all Board Meetings so that the short term view was always complemented and balanced by a longer term more strategic view of the business.
